Requirements to rent a car

Rental terms and conditions

• Reservations can be made with cars of the same category or, in case of unavailability, a vehicle of a higher category will be delivered.

• No reservation request is valid without confirmation from Aki Rent a Car through reservation number.

• The cancellation of the reservation will have a penalty of 20% of the rental value.

• Once the scheduled vehicle delivery time has elapsed, the reservation will be held for 1 (one) additional hour.

• In the event of robbery, theft, fire and / or collision, the client must file a Police Report within a period of no more than 48 hours. the event occurred.

• The vehicle is delivered clean and with fuel, so the return must be made in the same way. Otherwise, the resupply and / or washing will be charged at the price set by Aki Rent a Car.

• The rented vehicle can only be driven by the owner of the rental contract, or whoever he designates (provided he has a valid driver's license and is over 21 years old).

• The daily rate includes the rental of the vehicle for a period of 24 hours, with 1 (one) hour of tolerance for its return.

• After the tolerance hour, ½ day's rental will be charged. Exceeded 5 hours, a full day's rental will be charged and thus every 5 hours of delay in return.

• Valid driver's license from the country of origin of the person responsible.

• National identity document or valid passport.

• Minimum age 21 years.

• Minimum rental duration 72 hs.

Method of payment

• The prices of Aki Rent a Car are expressed in Argentine pesos. They include insurance and VAT.

• Payments can be made with credit cards: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Diners, Cabal and Mercado Pago. In cash, you can pay with Argentine Pesos, Euros or Dollars.

• All rates expressed on this site are subject to change without prior notice.

In charge of Aki Rent a Car

• Maintenance and periodic service of the vehicle.

• Delivery of the vehicle clean and with fuel.

• Vehicle replacement due to breakdown or accident:
  A) The replacement will be made immediately at any of our offices, during business hours.
  B) Outside our offices, within 24 or 72 hours.
  C) Their replacement will be subject to availability.

• 24 hours mechanical roadside assistance throughout the country.

In charge of the client

• Fuel.

• Fines and traffic offenses.

• Excess kilometers if you have opted for a tariff with limited mileage.

• Tolls.

• Drop-off charges.

• Return the clean vehicle.

Free or limited mileage

• All vehicles of Aki Rent a Car they are rented with or without mileage limits. You can choose the option that suits you best.

• If you opted for the limited kilometers option, the value of the excess kilometer will be applied according to the category of vehicle taken.

Deliveries and returns with extra charge

• Charge outside working hours from Monday to Friday from 7:00 p.m. at 11pm. and 23 hours. at 8 a.m.: CONSULT.

• Charge outside working hours Saturdays from 2pm. at 7pm. and from 20 hs. to 8hs .: CONSULT.

• Non-working day charge Sundays and holidays: CONSULT.

Extension of the rental period

• If you wish to extend the rental contract, you must communicate it with a minimum of 48 hours. before completion. In that case, Aki Rent a Car will send you a written authorization.

• In case there is already a reservation in advance for that vehicle, Aki Rent a Car reserves the right to extend it.

• Contract extensions are free of charge.

Insurance and coverage

• The insurance included in the rate and described as mandatory minimum insurance has all-risk coverage with Excess.

Additional charges

• Simple wash: 20000 AR$

• Special wash: 50000 AR$

• Upholstery cleaning: 110000 AR$

• Penalty for smoking inside the vehicle: 150000 AR$
