What are the requirements to rent a car?

How does the reservation process work?

Do I have to be a cardholder to rent a car?

• There's no need. Another person can offer the credit card and will appear as the guarantor of the contract. In case the amount of the card does not cover the total of the franchise, please consult us on how to operate. What do the prices include and how can I pay for the services?

• The prices of Aki Rent a Car are expressed in Argentine pesos. They include VAT and insurance.

• Payment is in cash, you can pay with Argentine pesos, euros or dollars.

• Rates are subject to change without prior notice, except for reservations confirmed with Reservation Number.

Can I request that the vehicle be delivered to me in a specific place?

• Yes, they are carried out during business hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Deliveries and returns with extra charge

• Charge outside working hours from Monday to Friday from 7:00 p.m. at 11pm. and 23 hours. at 8 a.m.: CONSULT.

• Charge outside working hours Saturdays from 2pm. at 7pm. and from 20 hs. to 8hs .: CONSULT.

• Non-working day charge Sundays and holidays: CONSULT.

Can I extend my rental agreement?

• Yes, to extend the rental contract you must communicate it with a minimum of 48 hours. Before its completion. If so, Aki Rent a Car will send you a written authorization.

Is there any additional information I need to consider?

• Reservations can be made with cars of the same category or, if there is no availability, a vehicle of a higher category will be delivered.

• No reservation request is valid without confirmation of Aki Rent a Car by reservation number.

• Cancellation of reservation will have a penalty of 20% of the rental value.

• Once the scheduled vehicle delivery time has elapsed, the reservation will be held for an additional 1 (one) hour.

• In the event of robbery, theft, fire and / or collision, the client must file a police report within a period of no more than 48 hours. The fact occurred.

• The vehicle is delivered clean and with fuel, so the return must be made in the same way. Otherwise, the resupply and / or washing will be charged at the price set by Aki Rent a Car.

• The rented vehicle can only be driven by the owner of the rental contract, or whoever he designates (provided he has a valid driver's license and is over 21 years of age).

• The rate per day includes the rental of the vehicle for a period of 24 hours, with 1 (one) hour of tolerance for its return.

• After the tolerance hour, ½ day's rental will be charged. Exceeded 5 hours, a full day's rental will be charged and thus every 5 hours of delay in return.

Will they block my credit card?

What do I have to do in case of accidents?

Should I return the car clean?

• If this does not generate any additional expense, otherwise you must pay the cost of washing and an extra surcharge for the service.

• Simple wash charge: 6000 AR$

• Special wash charge: 18000 AR$

• Upholstery cleaning fee: 30000 AR$

• Penalty for smoking inside the vehicle: 30000 AR$

Can I drive the vehicle if I am not authorized in the contract?

• It is an obligation to be registered in the contract, otherwise coverage is lost.

How much fuel should you return the car with?

• Generally, vehicles are delivered with a full tank and are also returned with a full tank.

• You have to return the vehicle with the same fuel that you received it, in case you return with less fuel than you received it, you must pay the cost of fuel and an extra surcharge for the service.

Is there a minimum term to rent a car?
